The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) is proud to present the 2013 Media Award to André Picard.
André Picard is the individual recipient of this award in recognition of the several excellent articles he wrote on hospice palliative care throughout 2012-2013. His articles educated Canadians and encouraged them to start conversations with their loved ones about their preferences at the end of life. André was not afraid to discuss tough issues such as physician assisted suicide and educate Canadians on the importance of quality hospice palliative care.
